I totally get why you'd wonder that! I mean, lots of evergreen schools talk about preparing kids for big careers, but it depends on what they do besides just saying it. At my old school, they had mock trials and community service clubs, which got some people interested in government or law jobs for real.

Evergreen High talks about “career-connected learning spaces” and “activities,” so they might run government classes, debate teams, student councils, or invite real officials to speak. That’s actually super useful if you want to know how law or government works. My cousin tried a civic leadership project at an evergreen school and said it helped them decide to study political science in college. But not every evergreen school is going to hand you a senator's job on a silver platter.

If your school actually offers government-focused courses or lets you meet local leaders, that’s a big help. If not, it might just sound good on a poster. Your best bet is to check your school's guidance office and see what they actually offer for law and government careers—not just what they say.
