Alright, UBA usually stands for "Unauthorized Border Arrival" in US immigration language. Basically, it's what the government calls someone who comes into the US without proper paperwork or without going through the right legal channels at a border crossing. I found this out when I was reading about the new DHS stuff where they're using apps to manage voluntary departures for people with these kinds of cases. It’s kinda wild because I always just thought people got detained or deported, but now there are apps helping with the process. If you see UBA on any paperwork from USCIS or CBP, it probably means they’re talking about someone who came in without getting permission first.
