Yeah, Israel got super close to winning Eurovision 2025. I was watching the final, and the voting was so tight. Israel’s performance by Yuval Raphael was up near the top the whole time. But then Austria ended up edging them out right at the end after a bunch of tense votes! The lead actually switched between Austria and Israel as the points came in, so you could totally feel the tension. It must have been so stressful for both artists. Even though Israel didn’t win, their song definitely made headlines, not just because of the votes but all the controversy and the protests. I honestly think Israel’s entry will be one of those Eurovision songs people look back at just because of how wild the whole event was.
