Are 007 games just retreading old spy stuff or do they actually feel exciting like new action games today? I'm wondering if 007 games will ever actually feel fresh again or if they're just for people who like 'old' Bond.

Honestly, I feel like a lot of 007 games lately just try to copy the old movies or games like GoldenEye, and it gets kinda boring. I've played some of them, and they just don't have that wow factor like when I first played GoldenEye on N64 or even the old PS2 games. I think the problem is they keep making Bond do the same stuff—martinis, tuxedos, gadgets, whatever—and they don't try much new.

But with 007 First Light, it sounds like they're finally switching things up, making Bond a rookie and kind of mixing it with that Hitman vibe. That actually sounds cool! I hope they put actual effort into the story and gameplay instead of just making it all about classic Bond references. If they do it right, it could totally bring 007 games back for a new crowd, not just people who are already hardcore Bond fans. But yeah, if they keep making it about the same old spy cliches, it's never gonna be as cool as it used to feel. I'd love to play a Bond game that really surprises me for once.
