Honestly, I was kinda excited when I saw Fidelity Bank rolling out their fancy new online banking thing and mobile app. But after trying it, it kinda feels like they just made everything prettier without really making it easier. The new look is cool, I'll give them that, and some stuff like transferring money is way faster and smoother. But the first time I logged in, there was this whole security check and I had to use the last four numbers of my Social Security Number, which freaked me out a little. My mom had to help me figure it out because the instructions weren't totally clear.

I've read that they're focused on making banking an 'experience' now, not just a service. And maybe that's good for some people! But all I want is to check my balance and move my money around without jumping through hoops. If you're not good with tech, the new setup might take some getting used to. Honestly, I liked the old version better for its simplicity, even if it was a little boring-looking. I guess change is tough, huh?
