Dude, I've heard this argument a bunch on Reddit and honestly, I sort of get it. Like, if you buy a PS5 and a game, you’d expect to be able to just play with friends online without having to pay more. Back on older PlayStations, multiplayer was included for free, so charging for it with PS+ now feels kind of sketch to a lot of people.

My take? If you're only into offline singleplayer games, it totally sucks to be forced into a subscription for features you don't use, especially when game prices are already so high these days. Some folks say it's basically just a way for Sony to make more money, since online multiplayer runs off their servers and they can charge for it.
