Honestly, I think Australia really proved they're just better than Argentina, at least in this match. The Matildas won 4-1 and it wasn't just fluke goals. Amy Sayer scored twice in the first half after not starting for over a year, and Emily van Egmond plus Michelle Heyman added goals late when Argentina looked tired. Sure, Argentina equalized for a short while, but Australia just kept the pressure going all game. Caitlin Foord was nuts with how she kept creating chances. And let's not forget, Australia made six changes from the team that won the last time! That means even some backup players stepped up. To be fair, Argentina looked stronger than the last game, but they kind of faded by the end. It honestly felt like Australia just has a deeper squad and more ways to score. I doubt it was just luck, because you can't keep getting lucky every game. From what I saw, the Matildas were just the better side this time.
