Not gonna lie, this comes up all the time—especially during elections! I've noticed some people say that www.bbchausa.com is biased, especially if their candidate isn't getting good coverage. Like last election, my friends would argue for hours about a headline on BBC Hausa, saying it was more negative about one party than the other.
From what I've seen, it really depends on what you want to believe. Some folks think BBC Hausa is against the government, while others say they support whoever's in power. I think the truth is, no news group is perfect. Even BBC Hausa will annoy people sometimes just by asking tough questions or not posting every single rumor about a politician.
In my opinion, it's good to check a few sites, even if I mostly use BBC Hausa myself. So, yeah, there probably is a little bias—but that's kinda everywhere. The important thing is, at least with www.bbchausa.com, most people trust that the basics of the story are true, even if they might pick what to focus on. That's just how news works, I guess!
