For sure, Maria Pepe's story is pretty inspiring. She basically took on a system that said girls couldn't play Little League and won, which totally changed things for future generations. If you think about it, that's kind of like what's happening in business. Women still have to break into spaces that didn't really want them before, whether it's at the top of a big company or starting their own. I remember my aunt talking about how when she started in finance, she was the only woman in the room, and she felt like she had to prove herself twice as much, just like Maria did.
Maria Pepe's win is proof that taking a stand and not letting people tell you "no" can have a huge long-term impact, not just for yourself but for everyone coming after you. Business really needs more people like her who keep pushing even when it's tough. Makes me root for anyone fighting for their shot, especially girls trying to build their own businesses or lead something big.
