Oh man, this confuses a lot of people, even in my friend group. Most of the time, in games, when you see someone say PS, they're talking about PlayStation for sure. Like, if someone posts "Looking for PS friends," they mean people to play on the PlayStation. But there’s some rare times where it means something else, though not as common in gaming circles.
I've seen "PS" stand for "Post Script" in chat, like when someone adds a side note after their main message, but that’s more for forums or longer posts, not really fast-paced game chats. Some older games or other communities might use PS for stuff like "Power Score" or "Party System," but playing online, people almost always mean PlayStation unless context makes it obvious.
So yeah, if you see PS in a gaming group, 99% of the time it’s about PlayStation, not something random. Makes it way easier to keep up with the convo! Still, if the chat looks weird and you’re not sure, just ask. People never mind explaining, at least in chill circles.
