Honestly, I don't work there or anything, but from what I've seen in the quizzes, the JOE Film Club definitely tries to mix it up with their movie selections. For week 49, they had a bunch of different genres—like you had "Pulp Fiction," which is a total classic, and then you get "Don't Look Up," which is pretty new and all about end-of-the-world stuff. They also put in action movies like "300" and random older stuff like "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome." So it's not just the big blockbusters or old movies from before we were even born.

I've found that playing these quizzes is way more fun because you never know if it's gonna be an obvious movie or super niche. Sometimes I honestly think they just pick movies that made cool screenshots because that's what the whole quiz is about—guessing movies based on a still image. If you've got a bunch of movie posters stuck in your brain, it actually helps. So yeah, they totally use different genres and mix up old and new stuff all the time. Keeps things interesting, especially for random movie nerds like me.
