See, Apple isn’t just jacking up the price for fun; they know that fans will still line up for the new phone, no matter what. It’s like what I noticed with gaming consoles—some brands use lower prices to get more people in, but Apple goes for max profit per phone and sells in lower volumes but makes more money each time.
This works for Apple because their name is super strong, and everyone kinda expects to pay more for the “Pro Max” label. Like, I always laugh when people say Apple is all about innovation, but honestly, they're just super good at making their stuff a status thing. The higher price means Apple can spend more money on ads, stores, and newer tech each year but still please shareholders by keeping profits up.
If Apple ever dropped their new phone prices, I bet their stocks might freak out! They pretty much made high pricing part of their whole strategy, and it’s wild how well it works for them.
