When I heard Ochuko Ojiri is still chatting about "Bargain Hunt" even after those crazy terrorism financing charges, I was like, really? But thinking about it, his life revolved around that show and meeting people through it was probably a huge deal for him.
In a way, it could be his way of holding onto something familiar and positive, especially when everything else seems to be crumbling. Imagine being under such a massive spotlight for something negative—talking about better memories might be comforting, right?
Plus, maybe it's like how some celebrities handle tough times by keeping their public persona strong. Remember when any celeb scandal hits, they either LA out or do something wholesome before court dates? Wrong or right, it's human to cling to the things we love when the world turns upside-down. Maybe he's just trying to not be defined by a really bad moment.
