I’m honestly pretty sure Chivu’s gonna try hard to get Giovanni Leoni to Inter. First off, Chivu just worked with Leoni at Parma, and apparently Leoni got way better when Chivu arrived, which is pretty sick for a nineteen-year-old. Inter’s been after Leoni before, but he picked Parma instead, and now it’s like all roads lead back to Milan. The rumors are all over TikTok and football sites that Leoni’s a top target, especially since Inter’s defense is getting really old.

If I was Leoni, I’d be tempted because working under the same coach who believed in me would feel good, plus Inter’s a way bigger club. But it’s always tricky—transfers can flop if the club doesn’t actually give young guys a chance. I feel like with Chivu in charge, though, Leoni would actually get minutes. Chivu seems like the type to bet on youth, and Inter needs new blood badly. So yeah, I’d expect Chivu to make a move for him, and if it goes through, Inter’s defense could look a lot different next season.
