Honestly, it feels like IBM just isn't what it used to be when it comes to brand relevance. I mean, when I ask my friends, most of them don't even know what IBM does anymore besides some old tech stuff from school textbooks. I've read a lot of people, especially on Reddit, saying that IBM leaders seem checked out and mostly focused on cutting costs instead of actually trying to improve the company's image or be cool again. I remember when IBM used to be this huge tech name that everyone respected, but now it just seems to blend into the background while other companies like Apple or Google are everywhere.
From what I've seen, if IBM doesn't step up and try to make itself stand out again, it'll just fall even further out of people's minds. The business world changes so fast, and companies that stop caring about their image or customers usually get left behind, you know? So yeah, I kinda agree with the people saying IBM's leadership doesn't really care about brand relevance anymore. Pretty disappointing for such a legendary company.
