I've wondered the same thing, to be honest. Anytime there's some new AI hype, I always ask myself if it's actually here to help or if we're just getting used to giving up even more of our data. With meta ai, it's super clear that they're collecting info about what you do, what you ask, and even stuff about your interests. That just screams "we're gonna use this for ads." Like, they literally talk about building profiles to show you more targeted ads everywhere.

I get why people use it—it's quick and you can make weird images or ask it about random stuff—but it just feels like another excuse for big companies to know all your secrets. I've noticed after using similar AI, I got even more specific ads popping up on my feed, which was honestly creepy. So yeah, meta ai might be helpful, but don't kid yourself—user data is gold for companies like Meta, and AI just gives them new ways to mine it. Watch what you share, for real.
