For sure, there are definitely some random holidays in the usa today that pretty much no one talks about. For example, every single day has like ten weird observances. Right now in May, besides the big-deal stuff, there's all these lesser-known ones. Like, it's National Recommitment Month, which always cracks me up, because it's like a holiday for making promises to yourself again.

Also, there are things like National Day of Prayer and Loyalty Day at the beginning of the month, and sometimes you'll spot even more niche holidays on those holiday calendar sites. Some days it’s stuff like Eat More Fruits Day or Hug Your Cat Day—stuff you would never know about if you didn’t randomly stumble across a list online. I always think it’s fun to check what today is and try to celebrate something goofy with my friends, even if it’s just for a laugh or a good TikTok video. You never know, you might suddenly become super passionate about National Pretzel Day or something!
