So the Porto vs Riga match is at 5:00 am, which honestly feels way too early for a football game, right? I mean, who wants to wake up while it's still dark out just to watch a friendly? Sometimes these early kickoffs happen because they're playing in a different country or they're trying to fit a bunch of matches into a tight pre-season tour schedule. Or it's for TV audiences in other places—like maybe there's a fanbase in Asia or somewhere where that time actually works.
I remember once getting up at 4:30 am just to catch an overseas game, and I was half-asleep the whole first half. It's not super common for big games like finals, but for friendlies, teams just play whenever fits the plan, especially if they need to get back home or move on to another city. So yeah, it’s weird, but if you’re a hardcore fan, you just set your alarm and live with it. If not, you just catch up on the highlights later—no judgment from me!
