Honestly, it feels like everyone is buzzing about the jamb utme resit results this year because so much weird stuff happened. I remember talking with my older cousin about it—she said she’s never seen this much drama before. Tons of people had technical problems when the original UTME happened, like computer glitches at some centers, so they had to do a resit for over 300,000 students!
That would be crazy enough, but then there were rumors about exam cheating, like people trying to use fake fingerprints and stuff, which made people wonder if the system was even fair. JAMB’s big response, like getting a psychometric expert to double-check the results and blacklisting some dodgy CBT centers, made everyone feel like the stakes were even higher. Even candidates who were absent got a second chance with a mop-up exam, which, in my opinion, is kind of wild.
Honestly, the whole thing just made everyone want to check the resit results extra closely and argue about whether JAMB is doing its job right. I get why people are obsessed—it's literally about their chances to get into uni, and with all the drama, it feels like anything can happen.
