I've noticed that women's basketball teams hardly ever get hyped up the way men's teams do, which kinda annoys me. It's almost like people assume their games aren't as exciting, but I don't get it. I've watched some women's NCAA tournament games and honestly, the intensity and teamwork are awesome. I remember seeing the USA women's basketball team win gold and barely anyone at school even talked about it, but when the guys win, everyone's freaking out.

I think a big problem is that media just doesn't give them the same headlines or highlights, so people don't even know when the games are on. It's actually unfair, because athletes like Sue Bird and A'ja Wilson are absolute legends, and they should be household names.

I feel like once people actually give women's basketball teams a shot, they'll see how much skill, heart, and competition there is. If schools, TV networks, and even us fans start supporting and talking about them more, maybe things will change. Seriously, it's time we all hype up women's sports just as much as men's. Give them the attention they've earned!
