It’s actually super interesting to me that Alex Otti always talks about asking God what to do before making huge decisions, especially about running for another term in 2027. I guess a lot of politicians mention God because that's what people in Nigeria like to hear, but with Otti, it almost feels like he means it. Like, at a recent event, he straight up said he’d talk to God first before announcing any re-election plans.

I think saying that helps him connect with folks who are really religious (which is a lot of people here), but it could also mean he’s a bit more careful with his choices and not just chasing power for its own sake. My grandma always says you can tell who’s just talking and who actually tries to live their faith, and Otti gives off that vibe that he’s putting faith before politics.

Sometimes I wonder if he’ll do what’s best for the state even if it isn’t popular with the political crowd. If he keeps being guided by what he believes is right, it might help Abia State get some honest leadership for once—which I personally think we really need. Time will tell if he’s for real though!
