Hecate's mysterious origins in Blood of Zeus definitely keep fans guessing. She's this cool magic goddess character with a bunch of powers, like casting spells and trapping monsters, which makes her pivotal in the series. I remember reading about her and feeling she was mixing both classic mythology and new traits entirely. It's weirdly exciting not knowing everything about her.

In Season 3, it seems like they're sticking to this mysterious vibe, maybe to keep us on our toes. While some might find it annoying not having the full backstory, I kind of like the guessing game. It adds layers to her character and lets viewers explore who she is in their imaginations. Plus, the show might be going for a more modern take on the myth, which explains the lack of direct mythology adherence.

In the end, the series' unique approach lets us learn about her through hints and actions rather than straight-up storytelling. I think it's pretty refreshing and makes Hecate one of my favorite characters.
