Why does Brad Pitt keep getting main roles in action-packed movies like F1 even though he's way older than typical Formula One drivers? Is Hollywood stuck on only casting big celebrities no matter what?

Okay, for real, I've noticed that too. Brad Pitt is, like, 61 now, right? Most Formula One drivers are in their 20s or early 30s before they retire, so seeing Brad as the main racer in F1 is kinda wild. But honestly, Hollywood still picks dudes like Brad Pitt because he's a guaranteed draw. People go see his movies no matter what the age of the character. Studios don’t wanna risk money on a random actor, especially with huge budgets like $200 million for F1. Plus, it’s almost like a rule: everyone loves seeing a big comeback, and the idea of an "old legend returns" story totally sells. I think it’s kind of lazy sometimes to only cast huge stars and not give someone new a shot, but nobody in Hollywood wants to gamble with box office money. Besides, Brad Pitt apparently trained a ton for the racing scenes, and I guess having his name on the poster is why F1 made over 55 million its opening weekend. Still, I wish they gave more underdog actors a chance, not just the same old A-listers all the time.
