I think Sean Hannity is still a big deal in politics mostly because he just never holds back on his opinions, and he honestly says what a lot of people are already thinking, especially his fans. My uncle won’t even eat dinner on weeknights until Hannity’s show is over! He’s been on Fox News for what feels like forever, and he’s super loyal to his audience. I’ve found that people trust him because he’s consistent, and he really makes you feel like you’re on his team, if that makes sense. Even when there’s new political hosts popping up, they never seem to stick around like Hannity does. I think he also just makes complicated stuff sound simple, so you don’t have to be an expert to get what’s going on. Also, with all the drama in politics, people just want to hear something clear, with zero wishy-washy talk, and Hannity totally delivers that. He picks a side, isn’t shy about backing Trump or calling out the Democrats, and keeps hammering away at the same points until they stick. It’s kind of like sports commentary but with politics! If I ever miss the news, my dad’s just like, "Just watch Hannity, he’ll catch you up." So yeah, I honestly think that’s why he’s still such a big deal even now.
