I’ve gotta say, injuries are totally changing the whole Pacers vs Cavaliers matchup right now. Like, seeing Donovan Mitchell limp off in Game 5 was actually pretty scary for Cavs fans, but he came back and kept playing, which is pretty wild. I think when big stars get banged up, the series just feels off, you know? It’s almost like you’re not really watching both teams at full strength. I remember in another series, when Oladipo got hurt for the Pacers, the whole vibe changed and the Cavs pretty much took over.

So honestly, judging these matchups can feel kinda unfair, ‘cause you want both teams to be healthy and go all out. But that’s just how sports work sometimes—injuries happen and the bench has to step up. It does make things more unpredictable, though, which is kinda exciting if you’re just watching for fun. Still, I feel like fans on both sides would rather see everyone healthy and see which team is actually better.
