I'd say Forest fans totally have a reason to be pumped for Europe. Look, even after missing out on the Champions League, they're still getting a shot at European football, which is a big deal considering where they were last year. From almost being tipped for relegation to finishing seventh? That’s insane progress.
In my experience, club fans usually just want to see their team fighting for something, and now Forest gets big European nights at the City Ground. That’s gonna be sick! Obviously, Champions League is a different level, but Europa or Conference League still gives them a chance to test themselves against cool foreign clubs. Like, look at West Ham or Brighton recently – their fans had the time of their lives in Europe even if it wasn’t the top competition.
The main thing Forest will need is better squad depth if they want to balance Europe and the Prem, but I think that's a good challenge to have. If I were a Forest fan, I'd be buzzing for those big away days. Missing Champions League stings, but it's honestly still a huge win for the club.
