I get this question a lot, especially since barely anyone scored above 200 in the 2025 utme jamb result. It's actually not as bad as you'd think, because many schools are dropping their cut-off marks. For example, Benue State University has a cut-off of 150, and some polytechnics go as low as 100.
So, even if your result is, say, 140, you've still got a shot if you apply to the right place. My friend tanked his JAMB last year but still got into a polytechnic because he looked for ones with low cut-offs.
Some universities haven't set their exact cut-off yet, but with this year's low performance, I bet more of them will lower it even further. I'd just say keep checking your dream school's requirements and don't give up just because your result isn't super high. There's always hope!
