To be totally real, everyone keeps talking about Lamine Yamal at Barcelona because his skills and maturity are next-level for someone his age. But I've noticed Espanyol's got some young talent too, even though they don't get as much hype. Guys like Alejo Véliz and Walid Cheddira have been grabbing chances, and you can see they're hungry to prove themselves. They're not at Yamal's level yet, but you never know—back when Ansu Fati popped up at Barça, nobody expected it either.
The main thing is, Barcelona's youth players get more chances in big games and they have better support because of the club's resources. Espanyol's players might have to wait longer or work even harder to get attention. But that's what makes derbies like this cool—you could see a new star pop up out of nowhere. I've watched random youngsters totally change a match just because they weren't afraid to go for it. So yeah, Espanyol's got guys with potential, but everyone has their eye on Yamal for now. That could change fast if one of Espanyol's young guns scores a goal in a big match.
