Yeah, this is something I've talked about a ton with my friends. I honestly think some of these star citizen upgrades do feel a bit pay to win, or at least kind of sketchy. Like, when they put out those flight blades and only let people buy them with cash first, a lot of people thought it was unfair. If someone can just buy the best gear with money while others have to grind for weeks, that just feels wrong. It's not like a cool skin or something that's only about how you look, it's actual ship performance, you know?

I've seen some players who drop tons of money basically fly circles around newbies because their ships are decked out. It kind of kills the fun if you can't compete unless you spend. I know the devs keep saying everything will be available in-game eventually, but the timing of stuff really matters. If paid players get stuff early, it gives them a head start. For me, games are better when skill matters more than your wallet, so I definitely get why people are heated about this.
