From what I've seen online, Liverpool fans are super split about trent alexander-arnold leaving. Some are just sad and wish him the best, but a bunch are really mad, like full-on booing him or calling him a traitor. I get being upset because he’s been there forever, but personally, I think people are overreacting. It’s not like he left for a rival in England or snuck out without saying goodbye. He posted a really emotional video and pretty much admitted it was the hardest thing he’s ever done.

If I was in his shoes and had the chance to move to Madrid and experience something totally new, I’d take it. You can love your club and still want a new challenge! Plus, he literally helped Liverpool win everything. I remember in 2019, everyone loved him after that Champions League corner against Barcelona. Fans get emotional, but I feel like sometimes they forget players are just people with dreams too. I’d probably cry if my favorite left, but c'mon, let the guy live!
