It's totally wild, I know! Almost feels like everyone's in a race to host the coolest shindig, right? But there's actually a reason why there's so much action happening on Cinco de Mayo.
In my experience, cities want to jump in and honor something special with the whole community at the same time it normally happens – that's on May 5. With Cinco de Mayo being a big deal celebrating Mexican culture and heritage, it makes sense they all want to hit that same date to keep it authentic.
I remember when I hit up a Cinco party down in Dallas. It was mayhem, but in a super awesome way! Everyone was in party mode, sharing smiles, laughter, and shaking their maracas in unison. Kinda like an unofficial mission to get vibes lined up across places. 😄 It brings this sense of unity, like everyone's connected with the same pulse.
But hey, having 'em all on one day can be a bit tricky if you've got more than one spot on your go-to list! Maybe consider picking a spot that you really vibe with?
