Man, the atmosphere at that Australia vs Argentina women’s match in Canberra was amazing. There were like 25,000 people there, which is the biggest crowd ever for a women’s sporting event in Canberra! It definitely wasn’t the usual chill vibes you get at most friendlies. You could hear people cheering so loud for the Matildas, especially when local star Michelle Heyman scored. That energy just made everything more hyped, you know? I’ve been to some games before where you can almost hear the players talking, but this was the total opposite. The players looked pumped up every time the crowd roared, which made the whole match feel way more exciting. Even the coach's last game felt more important with so many fans showing up. If you ever get the chance to go to a Matildas match with a crowd like that, you totally should. It feels so different when the whole stadium is buzzing!
