Oh man, Sabaly's injury definitely shook things up in Real Betis vs Valencia. When a key defender like Youssouf Sabaly goes down, it messes with the whole team's balance. I've watched Betis games for a while and whenever Sabaly is out, you can really feel the difference, especially defensively. He suffered an acromioclavicular injury recently and you could tell that Betis was missing his calm presence and the way he moves the ball up the field.
In this match, Betis looked a bit more shaky at the back, and their attack lost some build-up strength since Sabaly is actually great at pushing forward. It’s like, players have to fill in spots they might not be used to, so mistakes can sneak in easier. I remember watching a past game where he was missing too, and Betis had the same kind of problems holding their shape. So yeah, his injury probably made the game tighter and left Betis a little more nervous, which 100% affects the result, especially in a tough game against a team like Valencia. Injuries hurt, and Sabaly's one really did this time.
