Honestly, I think women's basketball teams vibe a lot on teamwork and trust, maybe even more than some other sports. When I played in high school, our coach always talked about how passing and communication mattered more than just one person trying to take over the game. I see that same thing happening with the USA women's Olympic team—they move the ball around so much, and everyone gets involved.
In basketball, you have to rely on your teammates because everything is fast and you gotta make decisions in seconds. I've watched some interviews where players said they hang out off the court, do team dinners, or even have team TikToks that get everyone laughing. Stuff like that totally builds chemistry, and you can see it during games when they're hyping each other up after a big play.
Compared to some other sports, where maybe individuals matter a bit more, women's basketball teams seem all about lifting each other up. That's probably why they stay winning—everyone's locked in, and nobody's afraid to pass up a shot for a better one. It's all about everyone having each other's backs, which I think makes the sport even more fun to watch.
