I've honestly seen fans go off on both sides after Halle Bailey talked about her postpartum depression and DDG tried to use her texts in court. A lot of people felt super protective of Halle, saying she was just being honest about her struggles as a new mom and shouldn't be dragged for it. On TikTok and Twitter, I noticed fans are actually educating people about how postpartum depression is serious and doesn't make her a bad mom at all—just that she's dealing with some tough stuff. Some even shared their own stories to show she's not alone.
But there are also folks siding with DDG, saying he's just worried about their son’s safety, especially if she texted him something scary. It's like the fandom is split and it’s weird reading some of the arguments. In my opinion, I kinda wish people would chill and realize even famous people are allowed to be vulnerable without it getting twisted. No one really knows what happens behind closed doors, so it's not fair to blast Halle for being open or to assume DDG’s completely wrong either. Everyone just seems super worked up about every new bit of info. Makes me glad I’m not famous, honestly!
