From what I've seen, Bryan Mbeumo is totally different than most other strikers in the league right now. He's not just about scoring goals, even though 20 in a season is wild. The dude's also handing out assists left and right—seven this year—so he's actually making the people around him better too.
The thing that sticks with me about Mbeumo is that he doesn't play like he's under pressure. He's super chill when he's got the ball, like he knows exactly what he's doing. Plus, he's always hustling, not being lazy and waiting for the ball to come to him. Even Brentford's manager can't stop talking about his discipline and drive. And every year, his numbers keep getting better, which says a lot about how hard he's working even off the pitch.
So yeah, I think what really makes him different is his self-demanding attitude, his ability to bounce back from stuff like injuries, and just being a team player. He's not in it just for himself, and you can tell.
