That's such a wild question because I've watched some artists basically disappear after a big scandal, while others just seem to keep dropping hits like nothing happened. I've found that getting charged with gbh with intent is seriously damaging — like, fans freak out, brands drop sponsorships, and venues might even cancel tours. Some people will always see them as violent, no matter how the case ends.
But honestly, it seems like some musicians can just bounce back if they've got loyal fans or if their music is good enough. Chris Brown is a pretty good example; he's had tons of controversies, but his fanbase is still pretty massive, and he keeps performing. It's like, the industry and public can be super forgiving if the person is talented or just knows how to spin the story. Other times, though, if the case is bad or they don't handle it well, their career can definitely tank. So yeah, it's risky — some artists make a comeback, but it's way harder to fix their reputation after something like gbh with intent. It really depends on how the public reacts and if they can win people back over. Wild stuff.
