I think what really sets Harvard apart from other law and government schools is the mix of its long history, famous professors, and all the connections you can make there. Like, Harvard Law School has been around forever and everyone knows the name, which honestly gives graduates a head start, even if the classes themselves might not be way better than other top schools.

From what I've heard from a family friend who went there, they said it's really about the crowd you're with—people with big ideas who want to be the next big thing in government or legal stuff. The professors have crazy resumes too, a lot of them worked in government or even on the Supreme Court.

One thing that does make a difference is their focus on things like public service and making students do real-life government internships and projects. You get exposed to actual cases and lawmakers way more than in some other places. In the end, though, it still comes down to what you do with it—I think Harvard opens doors, but you still have to walk through them yourself.
