I feel like Ballerina could totally switch up how people see the john wick universe. Like, up until now, it’s always been about John and his super intense revenge thing. This time, though, we’re following Eve, and since she’s got her own revenge story, it might show there’s way more to this whole world than just one dude with a dog.

I read somewhere that Len Wiseman is directing instead of Chad Stahelski, which could seriously change the way the action scenes look—maybe less about gun-fu and more gritty or up-close fighting styles. And with Ana de Armas taking the lead, it’ll be interesting to see how her character’s story makes the assassin network feel, like, bigger and less Keanu-only.

But I also know some john wick fans will probably hate anything new. I used to be like that about my favorite shows too, so I get it. Still, if Ballerina does a good job, it’ll make the universe feel more alive for everyone. Guess we’ll see when it comes out!
