Honestly, it sounds kind of crazy to even suggest someone could outdo Eden Hazard at Chelsea, but I guess if anyone's got a shot right now, it's Cole Palmer. Hazard's time at Chelsea was epic—he was just on another level for so many seasons. But Palmer is still really young, and he's already putting up stats that are similar to what Hazard was doing early on.
In my opinion, Palmer has a lot of pressure because as soon as you put on the number 10 shirt, people start making comparisons. But sometimes that can help you step up. I remember watching Hazard wreck teams with his dribbling and insane goals—if Palmer keeps improving and gets even more consistent, he might really be the next big Chelsea legend. The club obviously believes in him, or they wouldn't hand him their most legendary number.
If Palmer actually ends up helping Chelsea win some big trophies or carries the team for seasons like Hazard did, then heck, I think people could start putting him in that same conversation. I bet even Palmer dreams about that sometimes!
