Honestly, I think the Cowboys schedule for 2025 feels more like a punishment than anything close to an advantage. I know people always say the NFL tries to keep things fair, but sometimes it kinda looks like the league doesn’t want Dallas to have it easy, especially after last year’s disappointing 7-10 record and a coaching change. I mean, they’re going against some of the best teams from both the NFC North and AFC West, plus a bunch of playoff teams from last season. That’s just asking for trouble when your team’s trying to rebuild with a new head coach too.

I remember when the Cowboys had a softer schedule a few years back, and even then they barely squeaked into the playoffs. This time, almost every single week is a minefield. Some people say it’s just bad luck with how the divisions rotate, but it’s hard not to think there’s at least a little bit of bias or weirdness in the schedule-making. Either way, I don’t see this helping their playoff chances. If they actually do well, I’ll be shocked—like, that would be the story of the year.
