One thing people always forget is that mko abiola started life super rough. Like, his dad had 23 kids before him, but Abiola was the only one who made it past infancy. They literally named him "Kashimawo," which means "let's wait and see" because no one thought he'd live! That's pretty wild if you ask me.

Most people only talk about him being a rich businessman and the guy who won the canceled election. But before all that, he was hustling hard—like selling firewood at age nine to help his family and playing in a band just to get food for his siblings. I kinda respect that because you don't hear a lot of politicians who actually grew up struggling with poverty like that.

I've honestly been inspired by that part of his story. To go from literally selling firewood as a little kid to running for president is just crazy. It really makes me feel like anyone can do something big, even if they start with nothing. People always forget the struggles, but I think that's the most real part of who he was.
