I’ve honestly wondered about this so many times. People on social media always joke that Wall Street is just a big casino, especially after seeing what goes down on places like WallStreetBets where they brag about wild trades. But after looking more into it, I think there’s definitely more to it than just rolling dice.

Yeah, there’s risk and sometimes people get lucky or lose their shirts, but most successful traders and investors use a ton of research, math, and strategies. My uncle does this for a living and he spends hours reading charts, studying companies, and looking at trends before putting his money in anything. It’s not really random if you know what you’re doing. Of course, there are always going to be some people making YOLO trades that are basically gambling, but for the rest, it’s about playing the odds in a smart way and managing risk. So no, Wall Street isn’t just a casino, but there are definitely some people who act like they're in Vegas!
