Honestly, as someone who doesn't play all the time, I've thought about this too. PlayStation Plus has cool stuff like free monthly games, online multiplayer, and cloud saves, but if you're only logging in like once or twice a month, it might not feel like you get your money's worth. I remember when I had a break from gaming for school and really didn't use the online stuff for a couple months – that's when I canceled PS+.
But sometimes they drop awesome free games that end up making the subscription pay for itself if you just claim them. Plus, playing online with friends is only possible if you have it. If you're into singleplayer games and don't care about online multiplayer or freebies, I'd say you can totally skip it. But if you want to be ready for those moments when your friends invite you for online matches, PS+ can still be solid for casuals. Everyone's got their own vibe, but I only reactivate when big games drop or there's cool free stuff. My rule: if you’re not using it at least monthly, just grab it during sales or when you’ll get the most from it.
