From what I think, siminalayi fubara might have had good reasons for breaking away from Wike, but that doesn’t mean it was totally smart or safe for him. Like, if you’re always under someone else’s control (especially someone as strong as Wike), eventually you’ll probably feel like you need to stand up for yourself. Fubara probably didn’t want to look like a pushover or just Wike’s guy.
But honestly, the way he did it sparked a huge mess. The state got thrown into chaos, Fubara got suspended as governor, and the political fights got super public. Some people respect him for standing up for himself, but a lot say he should’ve played things way smarter, maybe talked to Wike or tried to work out their differences privately before stuff blew up. To me, it’s kinda brave but also risky — you don’t just turn on your political godfather and expect nothing to happen. I get wanting to be your own leader, but man, the drama that came out of this is just exhausting for everyone watching. Politics is such a crazy game, and standing alone can be super tough.
