Man, this whole thing with Jesutega Onokpasa flipping on Tinubu got a lot of people talking. From what I’ve seen, Jesutega was like super loyal during the 2023 elections—he was all over TV and social media defending Tinubu no matter what. But recently, he did a total 180 and started calling out Tinubu for things like increased insecurity, more economic pain, and just forgetting about true APC supporters. It honestly reminded me of when you hype up a friend for class president, and then they forget you exist after winning.
His last TV appearance in May 2025 was wild—he straight up said Tinubu "failed woefully" and might just be a one-term president! I think he felt disappointed and maybe even betrayed by how things turned out and how the party handled loyal members. When you care so much, it hits hard when you feel let down by your team. If I worked that hard for someone and then felt thrown aside, I'd probably be mad too. It’s sad he didn’t get to see things change before he passed.
