Man, after that 5-0 loss, I kept thinking if Inter Milan could’ve done anything to hold back PSG. I watched highlights, read so many opinions, and honestly, Inter just looked totally lost in defense. Maybe if they’d pressed higher up instead of sitting deep, they could’ve stopped PSG’s quick players like Doue and Hakimi from running riot. But PSG just moved the ball so fast, and when you’ve got teens and young guys full of energy, it gets brutal for older defenders.
I read some people say Inter should’ve changed formation, maybe gone more defensive or packed the midfield to slow PSG down. But that’s easy to say after getting hammered, right? Sometimes you just have to admit the other team was on another level. I feel for Inter fans, but if you were watching that game, PSG probably could’ve scored even more! Sometimes, no tactic can save you if the other team is just firing on all cylinders.
