If your school ends up getting in trouble with the West African Examinations Council during exams, it could get really messy for both students and the school head. I heard from my older brother that if a public school is caught helping with cheating or doing something against the rules, the headmaster can even get sent to the Ghana Education Service for punishment. That’s a big deal because it could mess up someone’s whole career.

For us students, the Council will probably hold back our results and might ask us to come and explain ourselves in a hearing. If they find out you cheated or were part of the problem, they’ll just cancel your results. Imagine putting in all that work and having it wiped out because of someone else's mess! If a private school keeps messing up or has too many cases, WAEC can even remove their recognition and stop their students from writing future exams there.

Honestly, it’s really scary to think your future could be affected by other people’s actions, not just your own. If I was in that situation, I’d be super careful and report any funny stuff just to stay safe. I’d want my results to show my hard work, not get canceled over some drama.
