Oh man, Ukraine has been seriously stepping up lately with new laws to push back on anything Russia tries to sneak into their politics. From what I've read, they've set a bunch of rules making it super hard for Russian businesses or politicians to have influence. Like, there's a list of people and companies from Russia that just flat-out can't do business in Ukraine anymore. I remember seeing news about Ukrainian officials now having to declare all their connections and assets really openly, so nobody can hide Russian money or anything shady like that.
There’s also this whole thing with media—they’re cracking down on Russian news and social media channels because they say it spreads fake news about Ukraine. It kind of feels like they're building a giant wall against anything Russian, not just at the border but in government and TV too. My personal take: it's wild how fast they're moving, but I get why they're doing it with the war happening. It’s not perfect, but I do think these new laws help Ukraine feel more secure and show that they're serious about making their own decisions, not just taking orders from Moscow.
