Yeah, it got pretty heated in Rivers recently! There was this public meeting and apparently supporters of Nyesom Wike and the current suspended governor started fighting each other. To me, that's not even surprising. If you've followed Rivers politics for a while, you know how crazy things can get over there. I've seen videos before of parliament sessions turning into wrestling matches!
In my experience, supporters usually just reflect the attitudes of their leaders. Wike's known for his big personality and always standing strong for what he wants, so his followers can get pretty bold. But honestly, fighting at a public event solves nothing. It's like everyone forgets they're supposed to be there for real issues affecting normal people, not just political showdowns. River's politics always feels like a football rivalry more than actual government work—people pick sides and just go wild. I always hope someone just calls for calm and people actually listen, but yeah, that's rare these days.
